CCW returns to Conwy Civic Hall on Saturday the 19th of October at 7pm. Once again, Jay Gatling will be the ring announcer for the evening. Doors open at 6.30pm and tickets cost £5.
We’ve been having lots of fun at the Conwy County Wrestling shows over the last few months, and we thought you might like to see what goes on.
As the Ring Announcer, it’s Jay’s role to warm up the crowd before the matches start, to introduce each wrestler in turn, and announce the winner of each bout.
As with all wrestling matches, there’s a good guy and a baddie, and the crowd loves to boo and cheer their favourite characters.
Conwy County Wrestling shows take place regularly, and we’ll be sure to let you know when the next one is. In the meantime, take a look at their brand new website: www.conwycountywrestling.com
The CCW made this cool banner to use on their website.
We have been working with Jay Gatling for just under a year and he has been one of the finest master of ceremonies i have ever seen.
He has given our wrestling shows an injection of life, fun and professionalism. His crowd interaction is a wonder to behold, a man who talks to a crowd not at them. He has taken a ‘minor’ role, grown it and made it all his own, he is a valued asset to our wrestling shows and wish not to see one without him.
