Animal Magic in Colwyn Bay

This week, Jay and I celebrated our sixth anniversary, and we spent the day at the Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwyn Bay. Jay took some great photographs of the animals:

The new lemur walk though enclosure was a brilliant way to get close to some of the animals, and the lemurs seemed to enjoy watching all the people too!

We had a wonderful day, watching all sorts of amazing animals. We especially enjoyed seeing the bird flying display and the sea lion training. The Welsh Mountain Zoo is a brilliant place, and I’m sure we’ll visit it again soon.

But we did see one thing in the zoo that looked rather familiar to us… Can you spot it in this photograph?

Yes, it’s a poster for the charity show that we take part in every Thursday in Llandudno Town Hall! (Click here for more details about the show.)

Weekends in Llandudno, Colwyn Bay and Conwy

We’ve been very busy for the last few weekends. First was the Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza. It was our fifth year at the event, and the very first performance for the Mystic Emporium.

The following weekend we were at Eirias Park in Colwyn bay for the Way Of Life team’s fun day. Harley the Clown was there with his circus workshop, and we had lots of fun learning how to spin plates!

And finally, this weekend we were at the Conwy Pirate Weekend. We had  a great time, especially as we were working with Harley again, as well as escapologist Roslyn Walker. Be sure to have a look at their new Pyrate Circus website.

Summer Spectacular – Theatr Colwyn Friday 7th of Octobar

This Friday Elemental will be performing at the newly refurbished Theatr Colwyn. The theatre has recently reopened after refurbishment, as detailed in this BBC News article.

The show stars Chenille duo, Crazy Catz stars of the future and Wil Ty Hapus as the compere.

We will be doing two spots in the show, one in each half. Our second act will be an extended version of the routine that won the manipulation award at the recent International Brotherhood of Magicians British Ring convention in Southport.

Tickets cost £6 (£5 for concessions), and all proceeds will go to Happy Faces Children’s Charity.
